How do we protect our Clients’ Confidentiality?
We abide with our counseling confidentiality rules and ethics
- During the online and offline sessions, no one will be present when the client is sharing their information including their closed ones, we will allow only if the clients agrees to their presence.
- We therapists shall not share anything about the clients’ information and secrets that the client may confess at any time during the course of their sessions, during in-person consultation or during online sessions. We shall not discuss details of the issues that the clients’ shares to us with anybody including spouse, children, relatives, friends, or other therapists.
- We will not communicate or divulge such information to any other person, other than as specifically directed or permitted by client.
- Even if the client decides to terminate the therapeutic relationship, we therapists are obligated to keep all the information about the clients’ confidential.
We use a secure online and offline platform
- Protecting our client confidentiality begins from the clinic itself. We store files and documents consisting the clients’ information in a secured place in the clinic where no one else gets access to it except us.
- And when it comes to sharing confidential information through online, we use proper trusted sites where one on one session will be taking place and using of professional email where only we get access to it and no one else.
